Shankar Da

Sri Kali Shankar Chakrabarty is known to most of us as Shankar da who is currently running the affairs of Badri Aashram. He is the direct disciple of SHRI SHRI BHAKTA BABA and is constantly in touch with him for higher spiritual pursuits. Shankar Da's  father was Sri Sudhir Kumar  Chakrabarty and mother Smt Amiya Bala Chakrabarty and were very pious and religious. He was born on 7th Dec'43 and super annuated from the health department of West Bengal Government. It is learnt that Shankarda's ancestors were from Dacca(Bikrampur) currently in Bangladesh and they migrated to India before Independence.Pretty early in his life while he was studying in class 2, Shankar da got the good  fortune of seeking Bhakta Baba's blessings. Shankar da is continuing with the spiritual journey & task set by His holiness Shri Shri Bhakta Baba and is guiding all of us at Badri Ashram as per his directions .
